Good Times for a Good Cause

Good Times for a Good Cause—the 4th Annual Girl’s Night Out by Baxla Tractor Sales and the Clermont County Farm Bureau

November 16, 2017:  the atmosphere is festive, as local vendors pack their wares and travel down to…Baxla Tractor Sales?  It’s unusual, but it’s true, and the evening was a blast!

For the Fourth year, a creative Collaboration between Clermont County Farm Bureau’s Cindy Cassell and Baxla Tractor Sales’s Larry Calvert culminated in a very entertaining and informative evening for local area women.

This event features informative talks and demonstrations, farm –to-table, locally sourced food, locally made wine and beer, area vendors, raffles, and a live auction.  The purpose of this event has been to help inform and empower women of the area, and enable them to learn more about managing their home, garden, and even provide tips on how to eat healthy and potentially raise fresh foods.

Moreover, through the generosity of Clermont County Farm Bureau and Baxla Tractor Sales, all the proceeds raised go to support CASA for Clermont Kids, a small nonprofit organization that advocates for abused and neglected children in Clermont County.  This year the Girl’s Night Out project raised $8, 172, which will go to train and support advocates for abused and neglected Clermont County Children.

CASA would like to extend a sincere Thank you to Clermont County Farm Bureau and  Baxla Tractor Sales, and a very special thank you to Dave Lewis of Lewis Auctioneering and all of our local vendors!

Thank you for helping us to help the children!

CASA for Clermont Kids is Grateful for the Support of Insuring the Children’s $10,000 Grant!

Robert Dodson of Insuring the Children awards CASA for Clermont Kids Executive Director Nathan Bell with the $10,000 check.

Insuring The Children is a partnership of individuals in the life, health, title and property/casualty insurance industry and those associated with the business. It is the belief of ITC that every child is entitled to a life free of abuse and neglect.

To that end, ITC provides financial and political support to social service agencies that deal with the emotional care and medical treatment of abused and neglected children.  Each year ITC offers community grant opportunities for local agencies.  This year CASA for Clermont Kids applied for and was awarded $10,000 through the ITC grant!

CASA for Clermont Kids is deeply grateful for the opportunity to compete for this grant, and this award helps ensure that CASA for Clermont Kids can provide a voice for abused and neglected Clermont County Children.

Thank you ITC!
