On the evening of November 3rd, 2017, the Clermont County community came together to support CASA for Clermont Kids at the Fall Fundraiser at Holiday Inn Eastgate.

This annual event is the primary fundraiser for the lean nonprofit, CASA for Clermont Kids.  The staff of 5, along with dedicated volunteers, organized and hosted a rich and festive evening to celebrate achievements, and to fund the ongoing mission of helping Clermont County’s abused and neglected children.

This year, the organization had tremendous help from members of the LEAD Stewardship committee, a group of Business and industry leaders from Clermont County who are committed to philanthropy and the betterment of the County.

LEAD Stewardship assisted CASA in obtaining silent auction baskets to help raise funds.  Delicious appetizers were provided by Susanna Ibarra, and Clermont County Board of Developmental Disabilities staff and clients assisted with table decorations.  The event was poised for success!

Hosted by Bob “Maximum Bob” Pautke, Director of LEADership for LEAD Clermont, the event featured the new and improved Beverage Pull, silent auctions, live auctions, and raffle baskets graciously donated by 9 different Clermont County public offices!

CASA volunteers were presented awards for years of faithful service. The Lykins Positive Energy Award was accepted by Larry Jebsen of Coldwell Banker West Shell, for the CBWS Foundation’s generous support of CASA for Clermont Kids through the years.

A rousing auction followed, with volunteer auctioneer Dave Lewis of Lewis Auctioneering  presiding over several fabulous items. Several desirable items were presented, but the most popular packages featured special Fiona items and a behind the scene zoo tour, with possible Fiona encounter!  Other lucky winners will see OSU battle Michigan State, get fit at the YMCA with a personal trainer, and light the holiday tree at Winterfest!

By the end of the evening, CASA staff and hardworking volunteers from PNC Bank were finalizing the totals.  Preliminary calculations indicate the event raised over $47,000 for CASA!

As CASA is a nonprofit funded solely by donations and grants, this event is vital to CASA’s continuing mission.  All proceeds will go to help recruit, train and maintain Court Advocates for the abused and neglectedchildren of Clermont County.  These donations give children a voice!

CASA for Clermont Kids warmly and sincerely thanks our donors, supporters, volunteers, Board, and attendees of our Fall Fundraiser.  Your help allows us to continue speaking up for children.  We are deeply gratified to have such strong support from the Clermont County community.
