Shannon F. Eckner received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in English Literature from the University of Cincinnati in 2000, graduating magna cum laude. She earned her J.D. in 2003 from the University of Cincinnati College of Law, where she graduated as a member of the Order of the Coif. While in law school, she served as a Student Articles Editor and Member of the University of Cincinnati Law Review.
Shannon is admitted to practice law in the State of Ohio and in the U.S. Southern District of Ohio. She has exclusively practiced family and matrimonial law since she was admitted to practice law in 2003.
Shannon attended the American Bar Association’s Family Law Trial Advocacy Institute in 2006 and was named an Ohio Super Lawyers Rising Star in the area of family law by Cincinnati Magazine in 2006, 2007, 2009 and 2011–2016.
Collaboratively trained, Shannon is a member of the Cincinnati Academy of Collaborative Professionals. She is also a member of the American Bar Association, Family Law Section, the Ohio State Bar Association Family Law Committee and the Cincinnati Bar Association Domestic Relations Committee.
Sam DeBonis is Assistant Vice President, Commercial Lender with Park National Bank. He is very active in building our Clermont County community. In addition to serving on the Board for CASA for Clermont Kids, he also serves on Clermont Senior Services’ Board of Trustees and Finance Committee, on the St. Thomas More Parish Pastoral Council, in the Clermont County Township Association and Clermont Chamber of Commerce & Small Business Development Center , and in the Blue Ash Business Association.
Dr. Keith Kline has served as the Superintendent of the West Clermont School District since February 2013. Prior to coming to West Clermont, he served as a building administrator in both Lakota and Kettering Schools. During his time in West Clermont, the district has engaged in multiple construction projects which include the consolidation of Amelia and Glen Este High and Middle Schools as well as the replacement/renovation of several elementary school facilities. Assisting all students to achieve to their fullest potential is Dr. Kline’s passion.
Cathy Sahlfeld retired from American Airline after nearly 30 years of service in their Cincinnati, Ohio office. Her roles with American included Corporate Instructor, Human Resources Generalist, Probationary Supervisor, and International Sales. Most recently Cathy was employed by Clermont County Department of Job and Family Services at Ohio Means Jobs of Clermont County as a Business Services Manager. She assisted local companies with their human resources needs to promote hiring and business development in the region. Cathy has now fully embraced retirement and spends her time serving on the Clermont Chamber Foundation’s Work Readiness Initiative, assisting local schools secure professionals to speak to students about careers, acting as a mentor to a student in New Richmond, and leading field trips for pre-school and elementary students at Sunrock Farm.
Cathy is married with two adult sons who live in Seattle, WA and Pataskala, OH and two granddaughters who share her love of the great outdoors. She enjoys using her retiree travel benefits to visit family and friends and to travel abroad.
Tracey Rowe is the Vice President of Programs for Cincinnati Early Learning Centers, Inc. (CELC) and has over 28 years of experience in early childhood education. Tracey oversees the operation of 7 childcare programs in Hamilton County that have all received a 5-Star Rating from Step Up to Quality. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Cincinnati and has been a resident of Clermont County for 20 years. Tracey has served on the board of CASA for Clermont Kids since February of 2014 and currently holds the position of Vice President.
Judy Eschmann is the Director of Clermont County Job and Family Services. She has 29 years of experience working in the DJFS system which includes Child Support Enforcement, Children’s Protective Services, Public Assistance and Workforce Development. She served on the Clermont County Mental Health & Recovery Board from 2009 through 2013. She is currently a member of the Regional United Way Emergency Food and Shelter Program Board.
Dr. Greg Sojka, teaches at UC Clermont College where he served as Dean from 2010-2015. He and his wife, Dr. Jane Sojka ( A marketing professor at UC) met at Indiana University where he earned a Ph.D. in American Literature. He currently serves as the Vice Chair of the Clermont Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and chair of the Governance Committee of the Clermont County Boys & Girls Club as well as on the board of the Clermont Philharmonic Orchestra. He lives in Union Township where enjoys gardening and other outdoor activities.
Jessica Faris is a Business Controls Analyst at Fifth Third Bank. From 2010-2016, she practiced family law at Faris & Faris, LLC in Batavia and served as a Guardian ad Litem in the Clermont County Juvenile Court.
Jessica received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee and her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Kentucky College of Law in Lexington, Kentucky. She has served on the CASA for Clermont Kids board since February, 2014.
